It has been a few months since we talked. My computer went on the blink so I have to use Frank's and when he travels I don't have one.

Your Mom had such a special day w/Dina looking for Dina's wedding gown - she found your feather outside the store - mom and me know you sent it. These signs make such a difference to her new world without you. I bet you stood right behind Dina with such a big smile when she was trying on "her" gown! It made me happy on the way to NYC sitting in the back w/Mom and listening to your sister Dina and Domenica reminence about driving you to school. It made me happy.  You are helping them heal. For me it was such a great natural and funny conversation. No one mentioned you were not still with us. It was just about Jimmy - you still being right there with them...step by step without missing a beat. That is the way I truly feel. I know you will get to enjoy all of the days ahead with Dina and your Mom planning her wedding. Your sister is happycontent and in love......it is all good!!!! 

I had a good time with my Natalie that day too. I know Natalie thinks of you all the time - look after her and guide her.  I will talk to you soon.

Summer's weather is finally here. It's been a couple months that I wrote to you. 

As I was driving to work the other afternoon I don't put on the radio I do my novena prayers. I slowed down on Keyser Avenue for a man to get out of his car - he turned towards me and waved to thank me...he had on a Lycoming College t-shirt....I looked up to the sky and said "hi" to you.

The week before I took my mom to her doctorl's appt. in Dunmore. As we were waiting for her turn to see the doctor....the door opens and a young man (maybe 16 or 17) walks out w/his mom.....he is wearing your grey golf tournament t-shirt. I said a "hi" to you. I said to my Mom he has Jimmy's shirt on....we both filled up.  My mom still talks about you coming down in between practices to sleep with the air conditoning.She thinks you are the most beautiful boy she ever met or saw....

Driving my mom home.....on electric street...at the light...I see a Banko Beer Distributor truck...I said "hi" to you.

In my mind and heart - I take these moments to remember you are not very far away from everyone......you show up for everyone especially your family and close friends. We just have to recognize your gestures and treasure them.

Change of seasons are tough...stay close to your MomDina and Dad.

Have you ever noticed that when we light one candle from another it does not diminish the glow of the first candle. In fact for just a moment the flame grows taller and brighter. Mei all the candles that have been lit in memory of precious Jimmy glow like a bright star in the night sky and let you know that you and your angel are thought about in a very special way.

Your mom is having a hard time being happy on your birthday without you being here to have cake, blow out candles and buy presents for - your her precious little boy who she misses terribly - that will never change - it is what it is - a mom heartbroken not being able to see you, talk to you, hug you, kiss you and watch your life unfold  so her life could be complete...

So all of us who love your mom will be there for her with open arms and open hearts and open ears and silent mouths so she can once again get through another day without you. She needs to cry and mourn because she can't be at your birthday in heaven but you know she is with you in her mind and heart.

Your beautiful sister must be hurting too....blow a birthday kiss to her today. They both belong to a very lonley club that only other members could understand......and it is a club no one wants to join.The world goes around in a totally different way for them now and that is what it is.

See you Saturday, I will be watching to see where you will show up - your family and friends love and miss more than you realize. There is only 1 Jimmy - you are great and special!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Sweet Jimmy,

Happy belated Easter.  We are planning your 3rd Golf Tournament and everyone on the committee loves you dearly.  Your presence is always felt by Mom (and me) at the meetings.  You have a way of showing yourself. 

I started my new job and I like it. I'm still in training and there seems to be soo much to learn especially all the different screens on the computer so you will be hearing me silently pray to you for help.  Help the light to go on in my head. 

You mom and Dina's b'day is this month and you will be close to them to help them celebrate.  Just know, you are forever in our hearts and your smile, big hugs,your fun-loving ways are missed beyond any words could describe.  Your family celebrated you on Easter as they do everyday.

I am so very sorry I was not able to light a candle for you on your angel date. Please know that I was thinking of you and your sweet mom. This is such a sad time for her, please stay close and let your mom feel your love.
